| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: The survey cruise of hake and other demersal in the autumn 2014 covered the area from 3°30’S to 9°00’S. A total of 62 positive casts were made for hake and 4,036 individuals were analyzed. The reproductive condition of the adult population of hake was determined from the reproductive activity (RA) and the gonadosomatic index (GSI), observing two different reproductive zones. A reproductively inactive zone (sub-areas A, B, C and D), with RA values that did not exceed 14% and another reproductively active area (sub-areas E, F and G) with RA values that fluctuated from 63.8% up to 75.6%. It was observed that the size groups that sustained the high values of RA and GSI in the sub-areas E, F and G were the 2 (25-30 cm of TL), the 3 (31-35 cm of TL) and the 6 (46 to more cm of TL). In addition, the vertical reproductive behavior of the resource as well as its condition factor were within the expected. | - |
